Registration 2010-2011 school year

Now Enrolling for Fall 2010
Registration on a first come, first serve basis.

Montessori Children’s House of Sycamore and DeKalb accepts children without regard to race, religion, sex or ethnic background. In addition to the number of students, each teacher attempts to achieve a balance of ages, sexes, skill levels, talents, and personalities for their classroom community.

Priority enrollment will be offered to current families.

Interested parents are encouraged to contact school administration to schedule a tour of the facilities, to speak with the Director, and observe a classroom.

After careful consideration of our program, parents may fill out an application form for their children. A registration fee is required at the time your enrollment application is received. If all classes are full, the child’s name will be entered on the waiting list. Applications are accepted year-round.

Other Fundraising
Though we try to keep fundraising activities minimal, they are an important part of meeting the long-term needs of the school while keeping tuition reasonable. As such, it is expected that all families will participate in a certain amount of fundraising.

Parent Involvement
Montessori Children’s House of Sycamore and DeKalb is a living and learning community in which parents play an integral role. We encourage you to become a part of your child’s overall development by participating in parent education meetings, workshops, socials and other outings throughout the year.

“The child has other powers than ours, and the creation
he achieves is no small one; it is everything.”

– Dr. Maria Montessori
